BRENDEN LAVELY senior

Brenden Lavely, the class of 2017’s “Biggest Flirt,” has enjoyed four years of success and fond memories at 25 Osborne Street. In addition to his academic work, Lavely was a star player on the school’s football and baseball teams. When asked for his high school highlights, Lavely emphasized his role in the back-to-back dodgeball championship victories of his class. In addition to his athletic prowess, the student-athlete became known around campus for his work with the Key Club and Rosary Club, as well as his efforts to build a welcoming environment for the school’s Jewish community.

Upon graduation, Lavely plans on moving to Pittsburgh for college. For the next four years, he will be at La Roche College studying Pharmacy. While there, the future Red Hawk will continue his athletic career on the college’s Division III baseball team and also continue his community-based efforts. After La Roche, the soon-to-be doctor hopes to finish his degree at a graduate school in Florida.

Lavely’s advice for current students: “Things may seem difficult now, but always keep pushing forward. Never give up, and never be afraid to ask for help.”
