On Monday night the lady Crushers faced off against the Bellwood Antis Blue Devils. The winner of this game would move on to play in the state championship in Hershey, PA. The ladies beat the Blue Devils twice this year and had a lot of confidence coming into the contest. The game started and the Crushers never looked back. The Crushers had a solid start; going into half time, leading by 6 (35-29). Once the Crushers took the floor in the second half, they began to pull away. Haley Thomas led the team with 26 points. Other seniors contributed: Aunna Yingling added 13 and Machala Gibbons 9 points. The Lady Crushers beat the Bellwood Antis Blue Devils with a final score of 68-57. With this win, the Lady Crushers advance to the state championship game where they will play the winner of Minersville and Mahanoy Area. Come out and support your Lady Crushers!!
