On May 10th, Miss Mishler’s science classes released their fish at Greater Ferndale Sportsman Club.

Every year, the 9th grade students get an amazing opportunity to participate in this activity. They prepare the conditions necessary for, and observe the eggs develop into trout.  Then, feed and continue to care for them. After so many months, they finally get to release them into the streams. Also, while at the trout release event, they learn about other environmental related sciences, such as aquatics, water conservation, and wildlife in PA areas.

Overall trout in the classroom is always a fun- filled learning experience!
