Mr. Williams, also known as Luke Williams, graduated Bishop McCort in 2013. As of right now, he is a substitute here at McCort. Upon his re-arrival, I asked him some questions to get to know him better.

Q: What college did you attend? For what major?

I attended UPJ. My major was justice administration and criminology.

Q: What’s it like being a substitute teacher? Do you like it?

I mean it’s different, I never thought I’d actually be a substitute teacher right now at this stage in my life. But it’s fun, I like it and interacting with the students.

Q: A couple years ago you got the Point Stadium award for “Player of the Year”, how did you go about getting that?

I woke up one day and got a phone call in the morning, hearing that my pap passed away. We had a game that night, and I just felt it would be right for me to still go and play in his memory. I went 4/4 that night, with 4 runs, scored 4 RBI’s (Run, Batted In), with 4 home runs.

Q: What’s your future career from this point on?

I’m going in to become a Pennsylvania State Trooper. I’m leaving for the academy in January, and I’m very excited.
