This year’s powerlifting competition was held at Portage High School. The competition was held at the Portage Junior-Senior High School gym. Addison King was awarded first place in the female division, and Devin Nau won first place in the male division at the two 275 pound weight class. There were only three competitors from Bishop McCort Catholic High School, which included Ryan Flowers, Devin Nau, and Addison King. Ryan Flowers won fourth place in his weight class, but did not receive a medal. Out of the over 100 people at the competition,  two of our three won first place in their divisions. While some schools had over twenty kids on their teams, Bishop McCort’s group still came out on top.
